It's time to register for the

Crossings 5K Challenge & Kids Runs!

All proceeds will help CYC continue providing the greater Capital Region with the recreation and fitness opportunities along with quality and affordable school-age childcare programs and counseling services.

5K Challenge Run/Walk

  • Day of registration opens at 8am for all races.
  • FREE dri-fit long sleeve shirt to first 300 runners/walkers registered!
  • 5K Run/Walk will start at 10am
  • 5K Awards: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place overall male and female finishers and the same for the following age groups: Under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over.
  • Strollers are OK for registered walkers ONLY.
  • Chip timing by ARE Event Productions.

Kids Fun Run

  • FREE 1/4 mile Kids Fun Run.
  • Registration for all races opens at 8am
  • Must be 13 or younger to enter.
  • Youth short sleeve cotton event t-shirt available while supplies lasts for a $10 donation to the Colonie Youth Center (CYC).

Kids Competitive 1 Mile

  • Must be 13 or younger to enter.
  • Registration for all races opens at 8am.
  • All 1 mile participants receive short sleeve cotton event t-shirt with paid registration while supplies last.
  • 1 mile Awards: Medals for top three overall finishers for boys and girls.
  • Chip timing by ARE Event Productions.

Early Registration

  • Postmarked by noon on Wednesday Sept. 24th.
  • Kids Fun Run: FREE 1/4 Fun Run. (Short sleeve cotton t-shirt available for a $10 donation to CYC while supplies last!)
  • Kids Competitive 1 Mile: $10 through race day
  • 5K Run/Walk: $22 (online or must be received by mail by noon on 9/24) FREE dri-fit shirt to first 300 registered 5K runners/walkers.
